Here are just a few of our more recent re-blocking projects, with a little piece on the job and how we went about it. On average the cost to restump a house is around $16,000 AUD. house restumping on Mornington peninsula

Mornington Stump Replacement

This property was in the process of a full renovation. For any major house restumping exercise, the first step is ensuring the floor is level. For this Mornington property, we levelled this property with a number of jacks and replaced 98 wooden stumps with concrete stumps.

Langwarrin South House Restumping

This house was extremely un-level and very bouncy. Furthermore, it didn’t have the legal amount of stumps per square footage. You’ll Be Stumped replaced the original wooden stumps with concrete stumps. We added extra stumps so it was structurally sound.

Langwarrin Re-Blocking

An interesting job in Langwarrin, where a previous owner built a large undercover decking, but neglected to stump the centre. Of course, the entire deck and the roof began to sag dangerously. Had it not repaired by us, it would undoubtedly have collapsed in on itself, roof and all. We added 12 new stumps to secure this structure, which is now “Safe as houses” as they say.
